This is a ticketed training opportunity that requires purchasing a ticket directly from JCA Seminars to attend. Tickets are available here.
Dr. Azhar Khokhar, a consultant cardiologist and head of cardiovascular imaging at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, will be leading the course along with accredited trainers from the British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (BSCI).
This intensive training spans 5 days and adheres to BSCI and SCCT standards for level 2 accreditation. Participants will engage in formal lectures and practical training on GE workstations.
The course will feature the examination of 150 contrast-enhanced cases, covering coronary analyses of various conditions, bypass grafting, and other extra cardiac findings, meeting BSCI requirements. Participants will explore all necessary topics and review various unusual and intriguing cases. Following the course, attendees will need to perform and dual-report on 25 cases in their own environments to qualify for level II certification.
To enhance the learning experience, the course limits attendance to a maximum of 2 individuals per workstation and 30 participants in total, fostering a comfortable, interactive environment. Thus, early registration is recommended.
The training will be held at the GE Learning Institute located in South Jakarta, an area known for its diverse attractions and amenities, convenient for delegates coming to the city. It also provides easy access to Jakarta's business district and key transport links, making it a suitable venue for the Cardiac CT Course.
This course is ideal for those looking to achieve BSCI Level 2 certification and gain confidence in reporting Cardiac CT independently. Additionally, it counts towards the required 200 cases set by SCCT; however, participants should consult SCCT accreditation guidelines for further details on specific requirements.
35 CPD Credits can be obtained in line with the CPD Scheme of The Royal College of Radiologists.
