This year's Cantorum Christmas concert honors the legacy of composer Bruckner while celebrating the holiday season. The program features Bruckner's renowned 'Locus Iste,' conducted by assisting conductor Cameron McConchie, along with his Antiphon, where Cameron will also perform a solo.
Additionally, the concert pays tribute to the influential Church musician Stanford, showcasing his beautiful Magnificat in G, featuring soloist Jackie Ponting.
The concert will include a newly commissioned piece by Auckland University student Hannah Jones, complemented by Michael Bell's exceptional organ performance.
