Led by Mr. Han Kee Juan, the Principal of SBA, along with faculty members and guest instructors, the SBA Dance Masterclass Series is a week-long workshop aimed at enhancing students' dance skills through various engaging genres and performances.

This workshop is tailored for students in RAD Grade 2 and above or those at equivalent levels in other dance programs. Over the span of five days, participants will delve into different dance pieces, culminating in a presentation for family and friends on the final day.

This season’s ballet repertoire will focus on Swan Lake, a beloved classic, which will feature prominently throughout the workshop.

This year includes an exciting new component directed by Mr. Han, awarded "Teacher of Men" by Dance Teacher magazine (USA). The Advanced level will now offer a Pas De Deux and Men’s Ballet Technique Class.

Participants and their families can also opt for a performance excursion to witness Swan Lake by Singapore Ballet on 14 December 2024.

Registration will close on 17 November 2024 at 12pm, or sooner if all spots are filled.

Note:

An information package on preparation details for the workshop will be sent to participants via email in November 2024.
Students will have a daily lunch break and can choose to have catered lunch as an Optional Add-On. Those with special dietary needs are encouraged to bring their own meals and snacks.
As participant information will be collected, please ensure that the registration process is completed for each individual participant one at a time.

Venue: Esplanade Theatre

Tickets for Category 1 are priced at $74.27, reflecting the SBA discount and covering all fees (usual price $92).

Note: Tickets can be collected at the venue on the day of the performance. Further details will be provided in November 2023. Admission to the theatre is suitable for ages 4 and up.

1. Cancellation & Refund

Fees will not be refunded once registration is confirmed, except:

· In cases of cancellation due to medical reasons, a partial refund may be granted on a case-by-case basis with a medical report submitted to SBA.

· If the workshop is canceled by government orders.

2. Photography & Videography

Singapore Ballet Academy may capture photographs and videos during the workshop and holds the rights to these materials for promotional purposes.

3. Liability

The Academy will prioritize the safety of all participants throughout the workshop. By finalizing this registration, parents/legal guardians acknowledge that Singapore Ballet Academy cannot be held liable for any personal injuries or loss of personal belongings experienced by participants during the workshop.
