The Building Digital Twin International Congress (BDTIC) will hold its fifth edition on May 14-15 in Kaunas, Lithuania. This Congress is being organized in partnership with Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and the SmartWins project.
This year's Congress will adopt a hybrid format, taking place in one of the notable buildings of KTU in the city center. The 3-day event aims to foster networking and collaboration, beginning with a day dedicated to connections facilitated by the European Commission. The central day will feature knowledge sharing through workshops and round tables led by keynote speakers, while the final day will showcase scientific research advancements presented by PhD candidates.
Kaunas, a city that was named a European Capital of Culture in 2022, is well-known for its unique Modernist architecture, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city is situated at the meeting point of the Nemunas and Neris rivers and can be easily reached via its airport or by train from Vilnius, the capital.
In line with modern sustainability practices, the congress will implement a Zero Waste policy, promoting the use of local sustainable transportation and encouraging participants to minimize their CO2 emissions whenever possible.
For those not fully affiliated with the organization, the ticket price is set at 250€, with discounts available for 180€. Membership with BDTA offers ongoing updates and benefits.
