The 18th Global Roundtable organized by UNEP FI is set to take place on 10-11 December in Geneva, Switzerland, with an online participation option. This significant gathering aims to enhance practical methods for establishing and executing targets related to net zero, nature, impact, pollution, human rights, and financial inclusion, all in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals.
UNEP FI's biennial Global Roundtable serves as a pivotal platform to promote action within the finance sector, allowing numerous professionals to engage with peers and receive insights from international leaders. This roundtable will bring together a diverse assembly of participants, including banks, insurers, investors, regulators, policymakers, and representatives from civil society, to collaboratively influence the sustainable finance agenda and stimulate meaningful initiatives throughout the financial system, contributing to the creation of sustainable global economies.
This year's Global Roundtable will coincide with the Building Bridges event (9-12 December), which convenes over 2500 participants from more than 100 countries across various sectors, including finance, government, civil society, academia, and sustainable development, all aimed at nurturing a sustainable economic model conducive to a just society. More details about this collaborative initiative can be found here.
