Participants will have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of historic adventurers on the renowned trail to Everest Base Camp. Guided by English-speaking mountain experts from the Himalaya region, trekkers will explore the famous mountain range, stay in traditional teahouses, and visit charming Sherpa villages. While the trek is demanding, it includes an acclimatization day to aid in the experience, maintains an excellent staff-to-trekker ratio (1:4), and promises the unforgettable sight of Everest in its splendor.
The journey is scheduled from September 27, 2025, to October 12, inclusive of flight arrangements.
The total cost for the trek is approximately £1995, plus flight expenses and around £30 per day for additional costs, amounting to an expected total of around £3,000.

This trip aims to raise funds for the Samaritans, encouraging participants to cover their own travel expenses while contributing fully to their local branch's fundraising efforts.
About the Organization: The Bath Samaritans are spearheading this adventure and currently have approximately five participants signed up. The project invites additional branches to contribute to a comprehensive trek, ideally comprising UK Samaritans members. Fundraising initiatives for local branches are highly encouraged, and the team looks forward to welcoming more participants.
